IBRA Awards Application
In 2013, the International Biomedical Research Alliance Board of Directors established annual science recognition awards to honor exceptional NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars whose work demonstrates excellence and innovation.
Beginning in 2025, awardees will present their award-winning projects during the Scholar Showcase, along with world-renowned speakers and distinguished Program Alumni.
All applicants will be considered for the Colloquium Networking and Poster Session automatically, but if you would like to submit an abstract for the Poster Session now, please visit this page.
May 2025 Update: Due to ongoing restrictions on funds and increased complexity in administration impacting our partners at the Intramural Research Program of the National Institutes of Health, we have unfortunately had to cancel the planned Colloquium Networking and Poster Session and the annual Awards Dinner where students and faculty are presented with their Awards.
In addition, the logistical impact to members of our Awards Review Board has forced a delay in applicant reviews though we are hopeful to determine a time and location for providing the Awards in H2 this year, or will seek to honor a larger pool of awardees in 2026.
If you would like to express your opinions on these matters directly with the Legislators and Agency officials who are able to make changes to these restrictions and the impacts they are having on biomedical trainees, researchers, physicians, and their patients and the advancement of improved diagnoses and treatments, we encourage you to visit the non-partisan Research!America Take Action page. If you would like to donate to support our work, we encourage you to apply to join the IBRA Network, make a donation of any size, or reach out to [email protected] to sponsor one of our upcoming Events.
